Art Simms catches another 5 pounder, fills limit, and culls.
How do you win the Bass Pundit Minnesocold Bass Bloggers Derby 2009? If 2008 is any indication, you do it by catching 5lb bass and Art has his second. He caught the 5.25lb donkey in a tournament on Green Lake (Chisago). Not surprisingly it was the tournament "Big Bass." Look for Art to have a report on his blog soon.

Nicks Bass Blog On the Board
This is impressive because he caught these fish out of the peanut factory that is Sylvia/Twin now East and West Sylvia. It sounds like if Nick would have blogged exact weights, his weight would have been higher.

Mille Lacs is good to BP again!
I was just telling Cyberfish how the smallies were not hitting topwater when this 19" toad slurped in my gold Berkley Frenzy Popper. This fish culls up a pound plus, I think it would have weighed more than the length to lbs conversion credits it for.
